Projects Overview

Three Key Projects

Mindax controls three advanced exploration projects in iron, uranium and copper-gold. These projects are set to advance to Resource Status during 2010:

• Mt Forrest (YilgIron Pty Ltd) - DSO Iron, Magnetite.  This is a 100 Mtonne DSO iron Exploration Target concept in the emerging Central Yilgarn Iron Province with grades of up to 58%. It also has a Conceptual Exploration Target of 2.5 - 2.8 billion tonnes of magnetite type Fe @ 31 – 36%.
• Yilgarn-Avon JV (Mindax Energy Pty Ltd) -  Sedimentary Uranium.  This project has identified new high grade (1690 ppm) uranium in south west palaeochannels giving rise to a hitherto unexplored emerging uranium province.
• Mortlock JV (Mindax Energy Pty Ltd - Copper-Gold.  This project is looking for large copper-gold systems close to Perth.
