Mindax’s 14.7 Mt DSO and 1.4 Billion tonne magnetite Mt Forrest Iron Project is moving toward the mining phase. This is one of the biggest JORC compliant resource in the Province.
DSO mining is planned for 2013 and magnetite by 2015.
The company has carefully selected Sumitomo as a JV partner (Heads of Agreement signed) and is putting in place necessary approvals and aligning infrastructure providers including rail and port.
Mindax is also the greenfields discoverer of a new uranium province soon to become JORC compliant near Mukinbudin, WA.
Mindax has successfully built a significant portfolio of minerals projects in Western Australia's Yilgarn Craton of about 40 tenements covering about 4600 sq km.

NEWS FLASH - Greenfields Success: Mindax Delivers Maiden Uranium JORC
Mindax has delivered a maiden JORC Inferred Resource of 3.2 million pounds at 0.02% uranium at the Mukinbudin Project in Western Australia, boosting the prospectivity of other projects in the Wheatbelt region.
The CET is 10-25Mbls U3O8 at a grade of 0.05 - 0.15% U3O.
Mukinbudin is a greenfield discovery in a province where Mindax and partner Quasar Resources have a dominant 75% land holding, covering 275 kilometres of prospective channel, through the Yilgarn Avon Joint Venture.
This deposit is well suited for the (ISR) insitu recovery process used by Heathgate Resources Pty Ltd at the Beverley uranium mine in South Australia. |
